till you add a cut out paper family of wonky proportions and stick them in a pocket. Then it's a Soul Journal page.
This is the first spread of the Day 16 challenge. I loved doing this! Random steps are so much fun! No pressure to come up with the perfect idea, just throw all the prompts in a hat and pick one out and go to town. And end up with something like this.
Don't like it?
Well, it's not my fault, I was at the mercy of the luck of the draw. See, that's what I like!
I hope you're having fun playing, and if you're wanting another challenge while Sarah's away, see the previous post.

Loving your pages.... especially the house filled to the brim with family...what a happy looking home that is!
Thanks for popping by and visiting my blog and for your lovely comments.
Ohhh! I love this spread Arlene. I can tell you had a blast re-creating your family in paper. Who would have known we'd have so much fun with scary ART Journaling stuff? Why did we wait so long eh? LOL
Loving your journal...What a great looking family too!!Gosh I wish my work area was as tidy as yours...I think I have gremlins....
Gremlins...I knew there was a reason it keeps getting messier and messier even as I sleep! That's probably who caused my rhecent washing machine problem...tey want me out of the way so they can make more of a mess!
Hey Dawn. I HAVE been doing art journaling over the last couple years...just not this intense..and no direction. And Ya, I love it!
Precious family page. My desk is messier, believe it or not. It has spread to the entire room! Fortunately, I can close the door. I need a sign that reads, "WARNING: Artist Zone."
So I don't win the messy desk contest? Even if my mess is less than a week old? Man, I thought I was doing pretty good for having it look like that in such a short time period!
LOL
Hahaha.. seeing your workspace DOES make me feel a little more justified in my mess! Now, if only I could contain my mess to a table and not the whole room!
I love your house and your paper family! Haven't gotten to day 16's instructions yet, but I like your sneak preview! Thank you for sharing!
