What a wonderful day we had on Sunday.
The sixth of December is always special because a) it's Daniel's birthday and b) it's St NicholasDay, and the official start of our holiday season.
There was gingerbread house building.
It felt especially festive this year because of the cold temperatures outside, the blanket of fresh snow, and the wonderful glow of family inside.

We do have some video of a spectacular rum cake on fire (well, the candles for Daniel were quite a blaze!) but Josh has them on his camera.I'm sure you can imagine it.
Yup.
